Kajabi rebuilt its purchase flow in 2026, and it now competes with dedicated checkout tools. The updated purchase flow is one of my FAVORITE of all Kajabi’s feature releases this year. 

You can add order bumps at checkout, present upsells right after the first purchase, and offer downsells. Because of these features, just one sale can grow well past its starting price. 

We’ve seen launch and evergreen revenue boosted across the board thanks to Kajabi’s new purchase flow capabilities. In a recent launch for one of my clients, order bumps and upsells added 30% to the revenue, and that's before we even brought downsells into the mix.

Kajabi covers course selling and marketing from end to end, but it's not a full CRM. It doesn't include client-relationship tools like contracts or electronic signatures.

However, for most course creators, that's largely irrelevant. If you're selling and marketing courses, Kajabi has all of the features that you need to do that. You only need CRM features if you also run high-touch coaching, where you might need a client to sign a contract or want a workflow Kajabi doesn't offer.

For selling courses specifically, Kajabi is my top pick, since it comes with strong course hosting and a full set of selling and marketing tools in one place. Other platforms have different priorities. Teachable and Thinkific are lighter and cheaper if you only need basic hosting, ThriveCart has good tools for checkout but not course delivery, and Skool is focused on community-led courses.

How Much Does Kajabi Cost?

Kajabi has a monthly subscription with three main plans, and paying annually takes about 20% off each one. These are the current annual-billing prices:

• Basic: $143 per month
• Growth: $199 per month
• Pro: $399 per month

On top of the subscription, Kajabi charges a small per-transaction processing fee through Kajabi Payments. Beyond that fee, Kajabi takes no percentage of your course revenue.

How Many Courses Can You Have on Kajabi?

Kajabi counts "products," not courses, and a course is one type of product. Your course count needs to be within your plan's product limit, which is up to 5 products on Basic, up to 50 on Growth, and unlimited on Pro. Memberships, coaching, and digital downloads also count as products.
